Bio

Studio DE ANGELIS DESIGN was founded by Jimmy De Angelis, a young multidisciplinary designer with a particular affinity for light. In 2017, a project (AT27) defined the direction his studio was taking. He loves games of reflection and transparency. He likes to explore chance and defy gravity. His creations navigate between art, technology and science to propose different products.

NEST MARK, 2021

Nest is a floor lamp with state-of-the-art technology: no cables or batteries to power the globes that light up when placed in the net. Its elongated design is balanced by the intermingling of the woods that make it up. The combination of the different materials and the random deformation of the net give it a unique style.

Misto

Misto is a modular coffee table consisting of a main table top and a removable shelf that allows the table to be extended or used as a sofa end.

The main table top is made of white hand-crafted Carrara marble, the first leg is made of black slate and the second leg is made of translucent tubes in which the removable table is placed. The latter is composed of a steel base and a slate top.

The main part, imposing, is balanced on two legs with very different aesthetics. The first one is made of transparencies and curves. The second one is more massive and underlined by metal elements with colours oscillating between mauve, green and blue. The removable table, with its slender leg and the same variable colour details as the main table, creates harmony.

Vetro

Vetro is a collection of mirrors made of different types of materials that are precisely matched to each other. The mirror base, on top of which pieces of glass of different textures are added, is highlighted by stone, metal and mother-of-pearl.
This geometric version, made of exclusive materials, is a reinterpretation of our old stained glass windows.
