Bio

Fuelled by a passion for creativity, Annie Delvenne and Olivier Vitry of Claisse Architectures took on this project FOLDED FUSION and won the WORTH Partnership Project award.

At Claisse Architectures, Benjamin Debacker, Olivier Vitry et Liliane Knopes believe in designs whose balance, elegance and very soul will stand the test of time. Buildings which add beauty, harmony and well-being, interior spaces that give rein to dreams and objects refined and personalized. They like to create a dialogue between the objects and the buildings that house them.

Textile creator, stylist and conservator, Annie Delvenne's career has focused on textiles. With a wealth of international experience, she is guided by the narrative of this material, its history, its uses and transformations.

Folded fusion

The furniture and wall panels from FOLDED FUSION are crafted as unique pieces. Each piece tells the story of forgotten fabrics from haute couture and renowned upholstery makers. The visual identity of the fabric inspires designers and craftsmen to develop intertwined pleating and goldsmithing techniques.

FOLDED FUSION’s modular furniture line includes seating and wall panels with acoustic and decorative properties. Seats convert into tables or pedestals and pair with wall panels, combining goldsmith aluminium crafted by the artist Amandine Mangenot, with textile pleating of Annie Delvenne.

Grounded in sustainability and social impact, this project uses recycled aluminium, forgotten fabrics, and eco-friendly foam made by BUITEX from recycling textiles. It blends excellence with social commitment.
