As a young child, I was fascinated by the work of my grandfather who was a cabinetmaker. He passed on his passion for tactile materials and expert craftsmanship.

I love to experiment with geometric shapes, proportions and compositions. I also like to play with balance and challenge both gravity and material properties in my work.
I like to compare designing objects with writing poetry. A poem creates a dream and affects people with beauty. It enriches the life of its reader.
I try to do the same with my objects.
