WOVEN WHISPERS is a nod to Belgium\u2019s rich textile history, bringing together the innovative and refined qualities of textiles while emphasizing the craftsmanship and expertise of the various designers.\u2060 The exhibition brings together 17 textile projects that offer warmth, comfort, and a profound sense of connection. <\/span>

Belgium is Design has partnered with hub.brussels to present a collective exhibition at the Brussels House during Milan Design Week. In line with Isola\u2019s Design is Human theme, the exhibition (un)wrapped, featuring 10 Brussels-based designers, explores how materials and objects can shape not only spaces but also human experiences. From hand-crafted and transformed raw materials to repurposed and recycled elements, the selected designers embrace an approach that balances innovation with tradition, functionality with emotion. Their work highlights the power of design to reconnect with nature, rethink waste as a resource, and create spaces that enhance wellbeing.

At the heart of this exhibition is a commitment to design that serves both people and the planet. Through sustainable sourcing, circular processes, and deep material research, these Brussels-based designers offer a glimpse into a future where objects are not just functional but meaningful, adaptable, and rooted in a sense of responsibility.
