Révélations

For the first time, Belgium is Design takes part in Révélations (Paris, from 21 to 25 May 2025) back at Grand Palais for its seventh edition, an event that places conceptual, technical and artisanal research, as well as gesture, at the centre of the debate. The International Fine Craft & Creation Biennal gives 400 participants from all over the world the opportunity to showcase their work and, above all, their research into materials, while highlighting the importance of gesture and, through it, of workshop work. 

Belgium is Design has selected 5 Belgian designers and craftsmen to present their work. Representative of several disciplines rooted in the notion of arts and crafts, the projects perfectly embody the values defended by the Ateliers d'Art de France, organisers of the biennial: a biennial driven by a real commitment to designers, creators, manufacturers and houses of excellence, but also by a concrete objective in economic terms materialised by putting them in touch with purchasing offices, architects, decorators, collectors and gallery owners. The strength of the Belgian delegation lies in its eclecticism, but also in the determination of each designer or crafts(wo)man to place the gesture at the heart of the project.
